Vintage Beer Bottles

Brad's Bottle Banter

Over the past year I've been selling off a lot of my bottles.  My display space is limited and instead of having them sit in boxes I'd rather someone else enjoy them.  I sold all of my ACL bottles  and all my steinies except those from Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Texas and my Bock steinies.  I also sold my long neck bottles that I'd collected from breweries within a 150 mile radius of St Louis.  I hated to part with my New Athens, ILL bottles but I know the new owner is an avid collector of Southern Illinois breweriana so they have a good home.  Next to go will be my No Deposit No Return Bottles of which is have about 150 different.  I'm also keeping my mid to late 1930's stubby bottle collection - those really grew on me as I started getting more on the shelf.  I haven't added a new one of these in quite awhile.  The usual suspects (Piels, Lion, Steinbrau) show up periodically on eBay or at shows so it is tough to find new labels.
